I know basic music notations represented by alphabets (like CDEFGAB).
1. Iam looking for the meaning of the following music notation {C}.
2. I also need to know what does it mean when they put keys inside round brackets, example: (CC, EE, F) or square brackets [C] , do they represent chords like C Mjr ?
3. lastly the meaning of tilde, examle: a~g
How do i play these type of notes
thanks a lot in advance

Hi, I am not sure if you are asking these questions in reference to the chord sheets posted in the forum. If that is so,

the letters C, D, E... are chords, except when within rounded brackets (), where they mean they are individual notes.

The tilde ~ is used to mean a note bend using the pitch bend wheel or using a portamento. (a~g) for example means a bend from note A played first, followed by bend over to G using the wheel.

Those are chord symbols that indicate the harmony. Each chord represents more than one note to play, and you usually play it with a rythmic pattern. Here is one webpage to see what notes to play for a chord: http://www.telacommunications.com/nutshell/music/. You should also find the videos in youtube on how to play chords on the piano like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBSLvSJ3nxQ.
